Fabulous Friday
Today was a fabulous day, especially in that the campers enjoyed the least amount of rain in days! Indeed, only trace amounts fell…woo hoo! We can enjoy life at our Midwest summer camp in the dry!
After a great start to the day with Miss Natasha’s chocolate chip pancakes, morning teams and Free to Learn time in the Walnut Grove, while the elder camp ladies did some great community service visiting the retirees at nearby Pinecrest, the sun shone through, allowing the girls to enjoy camptivities such as lake play, rock climbing, crate stacking, canoeing, and disc golf.
After a dinner of Miss Natasha’s famous barbecue chicken and delicious cornbread, the campers had a fabulous bonding experience doing the sharing activity Cross the Line, before fabulously cathartic games of GaGa and 9 Square in the Air. Tomorrow promises a day of full sun, just in time for the long-awaited camper-counselor soccer game!
